PPCA™ Technical Overview
PPCA™ Methodology
Proveri Inc. investigators are examining whether measurements of gene activity of neighboring stroma cells of the prostate also predict future behavior of the tumor – whether the tumor is indolent with little potential for growth or is aggressive which may further guide treatment decisions such as the adoption of watchful-waiting/active surveillance regimens.
Proveri investigators are actively developing advanced assays for the application of these novel diagnostic methods including the use of a panel of antibodies each labeled with a fluorescent dye to be measured simultaneously to assess the activities of genes that are sensitive to the presence of nearby tumor cells.
